Day 2 - Write about a place you pass often but never notice.

 Technically writing from this promt is impossible because - how would I write about a place I never notice? I wouldn't know it. 

Anyways, instead, I'll write about a place I just recently noticed. It's a beauty bar. 

Actually, the term beauty bar is new to me. I know regular bar and sushi bar. But it hasn't been a year since I internalized that there's a place called "beauty bar".

You see, I don't go to beauty salon that much. I just went to one early this year after probably more than 10 years. I don't go to beauty salons because I thought they just offer the service of hair cut which I can do that myself at home. I used to think I don't need to look great with my haircut because I wear hijab and intead I can invest more in face products than having a great haircut. So visiting a beauty salon always gets pushed a lower priority level whenever I have new needs using money. 

From going to the beauty salon last month, I noticed that they actually offer many services. Other than hair, they usually provide theraphy massage, manicure and pedicure, spa, and probably light facial treatment like facial? It differs from place to place, I believe.

So, I thought beauty bar is just another version of beauty salon mixed with the face or skin treatment center. Turned out it's different. 

I was searching for a place that offers lash lift service as I am now wanting to invest more in my face. When I looked it up on Google, I found that "beauty bars" offer this type of service. Alongside lash treatment, they also provide eyebrow treatment and most commonly nail treatment as well. At least that's the conclusion I drew from browsing through numerous beauty bars online. 

Regarding the physical place, usually beauty bar doesn't require a spacious place to operate. Even I read on a Google review there's a beauty bar that can only manage 1 customer at its place. Home service is also available for beauty bar, which beauty salon and skin treatment center don't usually provide. It's obvious though, considering the treatment at beauty bar is way simpler than the other two. 

After looking at beauty bar places on Google, I found many that are close to my place and located at the area I pass often. Now I have familiarized myself of how it looks like. 

I have even made the decision that I will be going to a certain beauty bar to get my lash lift later this month.

I stumbled across screenshots of my conversation with the men I was once closed with.  I recall a quote that says something like "When you meet the right person but at the wrong place and time, he is not for you."  I read the conversation with this one person. He was intelligent, and his value did not contradict with me. Talking with him about various things was easy and comfortable. No necessary explanation about what I was trying to say was needed.  I am back to this blog again after having arguments with my husband. I would honestly not call it an argument because all the things he did today was wrong and instead he blamed on me.
