Day 4 - Explain why something is harder than it looks.

Most of the time, something is harder than it looks because we never try to experience it first hand.
When we look at how something is done, we can only evaluate that through our own eyes. However, most of the time, doing something requires the coordination of not only our eyes, but our whole body, mind, and mentality.

For example, running for 10 km. When we see people running, it probably looks doable to us. But unless we don't try to run 10 for km, we won't feel our body temperature soar, making our bodies full of sweat. we won't feel the thirst due to the sweat escaping from our body, we won't feel our legs being heavy and tired from running.

Can we even run for 10kms? For those who don't usually run, it might be impossible to run 10 km. They would just give up in the first 5 km, 3 km, or 1 km. Why? Because their body and their mind aren't used to running. Running at such length will send alarm to their body that its doing something never been done before and the body won't be prepared.

Another reason is because when we see something, we often see the last stap of the process - the result.
We don't actually know what it takes to have a process in doing something.

For instance, content creation may look easy - you just film yourself and edit, and then post it to social media. But the reality is, there are a lot of steps you need to do in order to create content. From ideation, to making outline, to writing script, to recording, and then editing, to publishing. People would just assume create a content requires one idea. But how to convey that idea? How should we convey it? In which and what kind of language?

If we zoom in another step, say recording, it's not simply by pressing the record button. One needs to know - how long should the recording take? Where should it be taken? Is the existing tool sufficient to record? Does a lighting equipment will be needed? What about the composition in the frame? How should the transition be designed?

There are a lot of steps one has to be taken which people may not notice if they don't actually take a chance to do something.
